Sustainable Solutions
Hydrogen Plasma Research
Hydrogen Plasma Iron Ore Reduction
This project presents my MSc research at Cranfield University on hydrogen plasma reduction of iron ore as a pathway towards lower-carbon ironmaking. It focuses on the industrial background and motivation for hydrogen-based iron ore reduction, the engineering principles behind hydrogen plasma processes, and how this work fits into wider efforts to decarbonise iron and steel production. Within the scope of my MSc, I worked with established research methods and academic guidance to deepen understanding of hydrogen-based reduction concepts, rather than designing a commercial process or reporting final industrial results.
Semiconductor Systems
Semiconductor Process Manufacturing
This project highlights my experience as a Process Operator in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment at Bourns Semiconductor in Bedford, UK. My work focused on supporting stable, repeatable manufacturing processes, particularly around photoresist spin-coating operations. I followed established process instructions, carried out process-related calculations where required, maintained accurate production records, and helped ensure material traceability in line with documentation requirements. Working in a cleanroom setting, I adhered to strict quality control checks, safety procedures and handling guidelines for chemicals and equipment, and supported the training of new operators by sharing practical knowledge about day-to-day process tasks.
Industrial Efficiency
Food Manufacturing Process Improvement
This project showcases my experience as a Production Team Leader in food manufacturing, with a particular focus on my work at AMFresh UK and other relevant food production roles. I have coordinated production teams on the line, supported quality inspections and documentation, and helped manage packaging and materials so that products move through each stage efficiently. My work has involved maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, following site procedures and HACCP-based practices, and ensuring that production records and labelling are completed correctly. Through this experience I have developed a strong appreciation for workflow consistency, communication on the factory floor, and practical opportunities to improve operational efficiency without overstating results.
